Ashley Wilson is a pianist and music educator based in Athens, Georgia. A Kentucky native, Ashley earned the B.M. in music education with an emphasis in piano from Eastern Kentucky University (summa cum laude) in 2015. While studying at EKU, Ashley studied with Dr. Richard Crosby and taught at the Foster Academy for Musical Excellence, specializing in private and group piano teaching. She was also a group piano instructor for the Richmond Area Arts Council, which partners with Madison County public schools to provide after school music and arts programs in rural Kentucky.

Ashley holds the master of music education degree from the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Ashley taught class piano to non-music majors, music education seminars, and supervised undergraduate students in their pubic school teaching practicums across Oconee, Clarke, and Oglethorpe counties. She also holds a master's degree in piano performance and pedagogy from Eastern Kentucky University, where she studied with Dr. Rachel Taylor.

Ashley has been teaching privately in the Atlanta and Athens areas since 2016, forming her own independent studio in 2019.

She is a member of the Athens Music Teachers Association, the Georgia Music Teachers Association, the Music Teachers National Association, National Association for Music Educators, the Gordon Institute for Music Learning, and Sigma Alpha Iota, an international women's music fraternity. Ashley has served on the executive board of the Athens Music Teacher Association as secretary (2021-2023) and Vice President (2023-present).

When she isn't teaching, Ashley loves to hike, tend to her massive collection of houseplants (her students often go home with complimentary houseplant cuttings!), and go on adventures with her rescue dog, Stella.
